Lyles, 28, briefly launched the Brewers last season after Milwaukee claimed him from the San Diego waivers list. The ninth of the leader Craig Counsell declined the US $ 3.5 million option for 2019 from Lyles, who signed with the Pirates.
With Pittsburgh this year, Lyles is 5-7 with a 5.36 ERA in 17 starts. In his first nine presentations, he achieved an average of clean runs of .189, but since then he has recorded 9.57 in nine starts.
