According to numerous sources, including Jon Heyman, Jon Morosi, and Mark Feindsand, CarGo and Colorado agreed to a one-year-long deal, with the details of the contract have not been revealed yet.

It is reported that the Venezuelan rejected a four-year-long extension that the Rockies offered him before last season. Gonzalez has spent the majority of his career in Colorado, where he has established himself as one of the best in the whole MLB.
