The battle for the National League MVP, Giancarlo Stanton, seems to be disputed by only two teams, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the San Francisco Giants.
After the Cardinals sent the first 'formal' offer for the Miami Marlins best player. The San Francisco Giants did not want to be left behind and have made their own official offer.
And the package with which they want to seduce the owner and president of baseball operations, Derek Jeter, is not bad at all.
According to the latest reports from Craig Mish of the Sirius XM, this is the list the Giants have sent in the offer to bring Stanton to Miami.
- Joe Panik | 2B
- Tyler Beede | Top pitching prospect
- Chris Shaw | OF
San Francisco gets:
- Giancarlo Stanton | OF
- Dee Gordon | 2B

The surprise name here is Dee Gordon, but that would benefit Marlins since they already want to get rid of his contract.
The only thing Mish did not specify, and maybe the most important part, is how much money would stay with Miami in the deal for Stanton.
Stanton, 28 years old, has the option to reject any destination that is not to his liking, thanks to the No-Trade-Clause in his contract.
For that reason, teams like the Boston Red Sox could be out of contention and even the Cardinals.
The Marlins still owe a total of $ 295 million to their star for the next 10 years.
