The LA Dodgers are signing back the experienced player Chase Utley for his 4th season in the West Coast.
According to Jon Heyman of FanRagSports, both parts came on terms this Thursday, as the contract details have not being revealed yet, but it is presumed that it will be a 1 year-long deal.
However, neither the team or the player have made an official announcement regarding the deal, but it is expected that it will be made soon.

The second basement spot is now expected to be filled with either Chris Taylor or Logan Forsythe, with Utley's role in the team will be as an utility man, with the veteran having played in the first base before.
Utley won the World Series with the Phillies in 2008 and has been named to 6 All-Star games. His career average stands at .276 with 1,850 hits, 258 HR's and 1,011 RBI's.
