Once a top prospect for the New York Yankees, will have a new opportunity to get back to Major League Baseball after passing through a pair of teams last season.
Bañuelos was traded to the Braves from New York in 2015 and after trying his luck in the Majors in some games he was released in mid-2016.
The left-hander spent last season with the Angels but only saw action in the minors, in Triple-A, throwing accumulating a 4.93 ERA as a reliever in most of his performances.
At this moment, Bañuelos is pitching in the Mexican Pacific League for the Culiacan Tomateros.
