After all that surrounded Eric Hosmer's singing with the San Diego Padres is probable that Kansas City Royals' fans were left with a bitter sensation, after seeing one of their big stars and important part of the franchise's recent success departing for a big money deal.

But Hosmer wanted to amend things and saying goodbye to his former fans the right way, as he will take out a full-page ad that will be shown in the Kansas City Star this Sunday, where he thanks the fans and remembers some accomplishments that made him so beloved at the Kauffman Stadium.

With the Royals he reached two World Series, winning it in 2015 and was named an All-Star in 2016. Also, he won 4 Golden Glove awards and one Silver Slugger as a first baseman.

The 28-year-old has a career average of .284 with 1,132 hits, 127 HRs and 566 RBI's. Hosmer signed an 8 year-long-deal with the Padres, worth $144 million.
