The 25-year-old hit .266 with three homers and 12 RBIs in 48 games with the Athletics in the Big Leagues last season, his first season in MLB.
The outfielder, originally selected by the Athletics in the 17th round of the amateur draft, has a .274 average, .344 on-base percentage and .426 slugging with 41 home runs and 254 hits in 471 games in the Minor Leagues.
Brugman is known for his defense and showed it last season with the Athletics with some pretty impressive catches.
The Orioles continue to add depth to their roster and now they do so in the outfield an area that gave them trouble last season.
