Looks like Dodgers' manager, Dave Roberts, has finally decided who's gonna be his starting catcher during the regular season, and it seems that Yasmani Grandal has impressed his manager enough to make him the first choice.
Amongst the contenders besides Grandal, there were players like Austin Barnes or even the young prospect Kyle Farmer.
However, Roberts seems to be decided that the Cuban will be his number one, as Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The 29-years-old is ready to take the responsibility as the main catcher, and even Justin Turner's injury may force one of his position rivals to be moved to the infield, to fill the spot that the third baseman will leave due to his injury.
Barnes can play at the second base and this can see utility man, Logan Forsythe, to play at the third base, as these movements obviously will clear the catcher position to Grandal.
