The New York Yankees are with the utmost attention in their starting rotation so they are trying to be extremely careful with one of their most important pitchers: C.C. Sabathia
After a knee injury last August, CC Sabathia undergoes periodic injections in the knee according to Mike Mazzeo of the Ney York Daily News.
The player thought at that moment that his career was over but the injury was not so serious although the player maintains the treatment to avoid complications.
According to Aaron Boone, Sabathia received some shots a few days ago, and says that his treatment will have to continue in order to keep him fit to play:
Sometimes, after an game, he will have one (a shot). For all I know, it will not come, anytime soon.
Sabathia has struggled in his effectiveness from the fourth inning, in the first three he has a 2.33 ERA while in the 4 innings his effectiveness goes up to 5.60.
