The funny bet that a Cubs' reporter had to pay after Happ's homer

He regretted this!

We started 2018 MLB season with a blast, literally; as the Chicago Cubs player, Ian Happ blasted the very first pitch of the new campaign for a home run against the Miami Marlins' pitcher, José Ureña.

This was a surprise for everyone, but for the Cubs' reporter, Michael Cerami was even more surprising, as he said that he would jump into Lake Michigan if Ian Happ homered on the first at-bat of the season.

And as we all know it, it happened that way and Michael Cerami had to meet his word and take a cold bath into Lake Michigan's waters. He will surely think about it twice before making a bet again.
