After David Price was questioned about his video game obsession caused his last week injury which sidelined him for the series against the Yankees, the pitcher was ready to prove his doubters wrong and showed them that Fortnite didn't have anything to do with his fitness; and these doubters includes manager Alex Cora.
This past Saturday, Price picked up the win against the Toronto Blue Jays and looked like a dominant pitcher on the mound, surprising everyone around; this was his first W since April 17 and the only one in his last 4 games.
Cora spoke about Price's impressing performance, and he's glad that all this video game controversy finally was left behind by his pitcher:
I saw something different in the way he pitched today. Everything. There was a difference in speeds. Mixing up that breaking ball is very important. He induced some weak contact. They hit a few balls hard, too, but I think he pitched great.
