C.C. Sabathia says the best Yankees' hitter isn't Judge or Stanton

Then, who is?

Gary Sánchez

Amongst all the expectation that surrounds the Yankees clubhouse, there's a particular interest on what the slugger duo Stanton-Judge is capable of: How many home-runs are they going to hit, how many records are they going to break and how far are they going to take the Yankees.

But for the experienced and long-time Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia, the most lethal hitter in the New York's roster is neither the MVP or the Rookie of the Year; for the veteran pitcher is his battery partner, Gary Sanchez, as Sabathia told to Erik Boland of Newsday

C.C. said that Gary Sanchez reminds him of a "young Manny Ramirez" and he thinks that the catcher is the best overall batter of the Yankees, providing "power to all fields".

It's not the first time that the 25-year-old is praised by a star, as in February, former Yankee Alex Rodriguez said that the catcher was a "hybrid between Manny Ramírez and David Ortíz".

Sánchez had an outstanding 2017 campaign, as he hit .278 with 33 home runs and 90 RBIs in 122 games.
