The new "Babe Ruth" impresses with a dominant first season appearance on the mound

With all the hype that the Japanese wonder Shohei Ohtani is causing around the league, as he has been dominant both with the bat and on the mound, we often forget that before him there were some prospects in the minor leagues that are aiming to do a "Babe Ruth" in the Majors.

One of them is Hunter Greene, the Cincinnati Reds' number 2 prospect, who just made his debut for the Dayton Dragons in Class A Minor and looked dominant on the mound with an impressive game and literally throwing fire.

The 18-year-old player clocked 100 mph in his first pitch of the night and struck out 8 of the 9 batters he faced over the course of 3 innings. With this kind of performances, we will probably be seeing Greene sooner than later in the Big Leagues, trying to emulate Babe Ruth and Shohei Ohtani.
