Both Logan Morrison and Gary Sanchez are not having a pleasant start of the season; the players are struggling to find themselves in their best shape, but it seems that the now Twins player will need a lot more improvement than Sanchez, and this will be welcomed as good news for all Yankees fans when their series against Minnesota continues.
Last year, when Morrison was still with the Tampa Bay Rays, the player caused a feud with the Yankees nation after he criticised MLB's decision of giving Gary Sanchez a place in the Home Run Derby, but now after this Tuesday loss that Minnesota suffered against New York, the now Twins player had his say after the Yankee Stadium gave him a not so friendly welcome:
They didn’t like the Gary Sanchez thing with the Home Run Derby. But you can’t fix stupid, you know?
Morrison told this to Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press and also said to the reporter that he was kind of expecting this reaction from the Yankees' fans, but he wasn't so surprised about that:
"I’ve heard a lot of stuff but it’s not original. It’s, 'You suck,' all that kind of stuff. I mean, they’ll boo me, but other than that.
#Rays lunchtime read: Some ex-#Rays don’t like what they see happening with former team. “Players look at it as like, 'All right, do well so I can get traded, so I can get out of here.' It's not like they want to win here, unfortunately,” Morrison said. https://t.co/kSiuykJXb7— Marc Topkin (@TBTimes_Rays) 24 de abril de 2018
