Just when the Boston Red Sox selected their new top prospect, the third baseman Triston Casas wasted no time on commenting about a recent player that became one of the biggest busts in the history of the franchise: Pablo Sandoval.

With the expectation that comes on being a first-round pick and the history that the Red Sox have on the third baseman position. Casas spoke with Mike Feinsand of MLB.com and he made reference to the issues that Sandoval had during his time at the Fenway Park:

Obviously watch my weight. There was another third baseman in Boston called Sandoval who had some problems. Just stay agile, continue to take a lot of ground balls and keep doing my thing.

Casas has been assessed Casas' skills and abilities by the Red Sox scouts and besides his tremendous potential and capacity, there have been some doubts regarding his defensive skills at third base. Even, some scouts have considered to move him to first base.
