After the heated discussion that the D-Backs' manager Torey Lovullo and Cards' catcher Yadier Molina had this past Sunday, which cleared the benches and almost ended up in a brawl, the MLB has decided to take action against the player and the manager.

The Diamondbacks announced through their Twitter account that Lovullo has been suspended by the League for one game and that bench coach Jerry Narron will take charge of the tame on this Tuesday game against the San Francisco Giants. Also, Lovullo was fined.

On the other hand, Cardinals' catcher Yadier Molina was also suspended for a game, but the Puerto Rican decided to appeal the sanction.

At the end of that game, the player explained the reason for his reaction, as he told reporters that Lovullo called him a "mo*******ker", which provoked Molina's heated reaction against D-Backs' manager.
