In the aftermath of the mass shooting ocured on Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida,who took the lives of 17 people and many more wounded, the sports world has united around this tragedy, sending his prayers and support to those affected by the tragedy.
But for Anthony Rizzo, first basement of the Chicago Cubs, the shooting hit him personally, as the tragedy ocured at his former high school. Just after the news broke, Rizzo sent his support via tweet:
