MLB: Cardinals Season Suspended Until Further Notice because of Covid-19

Another team that sees its season suspended by Covid-19 outbreaks

The bad news for baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals does not stop, since after it was announced that there is a Covid-19 outbreak in the team because the same players did not respect health protocols when going out to playing golf and going to a casino, now the consequences continue to multiply.

According to information from Joel Sherman of The New York Post, more positive tests have come to the Cardinals, now totaling 13 among which there are 7 players, and because of this, Major League Baseball has decided to cancel the series that the San team were going to play. Luis this Saturday against the Detroit Tigers.

Likewise, the season of the Cards will be temporarily suspended, and they would not play for the rest of the week, according to Sherman. 

With the Cardinals, there are already 3 teams whose seasons have to be temporarily suspended due to Covid-19 fears, with the Marlins and Phillies also seeing their seasons paused momentarily.
