The New York Mets will have to make unexpected movements in their lineup on Wednesday afternoon, just after Marcus Stroman was forced out of the bowl due to an injury.
Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY Sports, reported that the new Mets pitcher suffered muscular tension during the fourth inning against the Cleveland Indians.
Stroman left the game after four innings 0 vs 1 of the Indians leaving a record of 62 pitches.
To take their place on the hill, the Mets sent reliever Jeurys Familia in the fifth inning.
The right handed reached the Mets before the deadline for changes in exchange for prospects Anthony Kay and Simeon Woods Richardson.
