So far, Mariano Rivera is the only one included in the Hall of Fame to have entered unanimously and immaculate; however, soon his partner Derek Jeter could also be considered to enter with 100% of the votes to Cooperstown in the next votes.
The Panamanian has spoken with Sean Facey of 12Up.com, and has said he expects a Jeter more than unanimous for the Hall of Fame:
If it were for me, it would be 1000%, forget 100%. I played with Derek for so many years and seeing him play every day and seeing how he did it and respected the game, I don't see why it shouldn't be unanimous.
Jeter's candidacy does not need any presentation: Club Member of 3,000 hits, 5 times World Series champion, Rookie of the Year, 14 Star Games, World Series MVP and Yankees captain.
