"As a sport that is proud to unite generations, Major League Baseball is very excited to bring a regular season game to the same place in the movie _Field of Dreams_," said MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. "We do not see the time to celebrate the eternal message of the film that demonstrates how baseball unites crowds in this special cornfield in Iowa."
The construction of the small stadium that will host the match will begin next Tuesday, exactly one year before the date of the engagement and a little more than 30 years since the film starring Kevin Costner premiered and based on the author's Shoeless Joe book Wp Kinsella
