After the San Francisco Giants placed their ace so far this season, Johnny Cueto, on the 10-days disabled list because of his sore elbow, the team is desperate in getting good news from his pitcher, as they already have a lot of injured players.

Manager Bruce Bochy told reporters that Cueto will fly to Atlanta to get a second opinion with the specialist Dr. James Andrews.

The real extent of Cueto's injury it's still unknown, as the Giants are still waiting for the MRI, as San Francisco is doing everything for avoiding surgery, which surely will lead to a Tommy John, which will end Cueto's season.

Bochy spoke with Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area, and gave some updates on Cueto's fitness:

We definitely want to make sure we do the right thing. I don't think you rule out anything ... it's a matter of putting all our heads together and deciding the type of rehab and what needs to be done.
