The All-Star Game is back at Chavez Ravine for the first time in 40 years, as Bill Plunket from the Orange County Register reports. The journalist says that the MLB will officialize the decision on Wednesday.
The last time the Dodger Stadium hosted the All-Star Game was back in 1980, as this season's All-Star will be held at the Washington National's ballpark in Washington D.C., and next year's game will be at Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians.
The Dodgers have hosted the All-Star Game twice since they move to Los Angeles, two being at the Dodger Stadium and one at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 1959. They hosted another one when they still were in Brooklyn in 1949.
