Looks like the Japanese wonder Shohei Ohtani isn't adapting very well to his new life in the Major Leagues, as he did not enjoy a pleasant outing on the mound this afternoon against the Colorado Rockies.

Ohtani struggled through the 1 1/3 innings that he pitched this Friday as he earned 7 runs, allowed 7 hits in total with 2 home runs (from Nolan Arenado and Ian Desmond), walked one batter, and hit another as he thrown 50 pitches.

The Nipponese phenom has been very inconsistent with his pitches during this Spring Training games, as his totals are 8 1/3 innings, 18 hits, 15 earned runs, 19 strikeouts, 4 HRs, 16.20 ERA through the whole preseason.

Despite this terrible outing, there's no doubt of the Japanese potential as he caused sensation amongst MLB teams with his impressive numbers in the Japanese League, where showed immense skills with his arm and with the bat. He has a record of 42-15 with an ERA of 2.52 and 624 strikeouts. In the other side, he batted a .282 AVG with 296 hits, 48 HR's and 166 RBI's.
