Just hours after the Miami Marlins announced that they will be paying tribute to the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, the MLB announced that all the teams will be joining the Fins in this homage to those who were affected by the incident, as reported by Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald.

Originally, it was going to be just the Marlins who will be paying this tribute by wearing the High School's baseball team caps, but according to Spencer's information, an MLB source told him that more than 20 teams already requested permission to wear the caps during Friday's pre-season games.

The league's official cap provider, New Era, is making special caps for the MLB teams and in addition, the Marlins intend to wear special gear during the morning practice and in the pre-game warm-ups, with the inscription of #DouglasStrong.
