The New York Yankees will have their first major comeback from the disabled list with the activation of lefty and veteran CC Sabathia.
For some days it has been mentioned the possible return of Sabathia, but, it was not known exactly, when it would be the day that would register its first opening of the season this 2019.
According to reports by Erik Boland of Newsdays Sports, manager Aaron Boone confirmed the activation of CC Sabathia on Saturday to later climb the mound at Yankee Stadium.

Sabathia who is heading to the end of his MLB career, will face the Chicago White Sox.
The 38-year-old lefty was taken slowly into his rehabilitation after undergoing heart and knee surgery last season, which was the main reason why the Yankees kept him on the disabled list.
